Philadelphia Environmental Film Festival

The Philadelphia Environmental Film Festival is this weekend April 4-6, 2018. Details at  http://philaenvirofilmfest.org/.  Two films focus on the Delaware Bay and one addresses sustainabiliy of miultiple small businesses in the Chesapeake region.

The Delaware River Watershed, covering 14,000 square miles over four states, from the Poconos to the Delaware Bay, provides drinking water for 15 million people, including Philadelphians. It’s threatened by growing development, agricultural and storm-water run-off, and energy infrastructure. But efforts are underway by public and nonprofit groups to protect and restore it. (trailer)
