Update: Beginning in 2021, Baysave intends to offer services as financial adviser and intermediary in crowdfunded equity community and private small business ventures.
Baysave’s primary mission is to bring together stakeholders with diverse backgrounds and interests in the bayshore. We recognize that the combined forces of for=profit businesses, nonprofit ventures and government are all needed to maximize the utility and value of the bayshore.
Baysave provides opportunities for a range of investors who want to ‘do well by doing good’ by matching up investors with community investments, aquaculture ventures and other bayshore projects in our communities.
Some examples:
Land investments – We accept donations of waterfront sites for aquaculture and similar purposes as well as inland sites for storage and processing. Sites are typically offered to nonprofit, government and commercial users without charge.
Small business stock – Investments in shares of an aquaculture operating company held for five years have the potential of tax-free gains. Please inquire for more information.
Charitable donations – Baysave’s primary support comes from public donations. We recognize that donors are investors in our mission. If you are donating through an organization, we can customize a grant acceptance agreement to meet specific criteria of the grantor.
This web page is not an investment offering but rather an invitation to discuss your options and parameters with us.
